Highlighting the people and places of Vermont and Quebec. The Verbec Film Fest will be held in the historic Haskell Opera House which sits directly on the border between Canada and the United States where only a line drawn down the middle of the floor separates the two countries. This makes the Verbec Film Fest a truly international film festival!

Submissions

Submissions are now open! We are looking for films featuring the culture, land or people of Vermont and Quebec. Languages can be in English or French, with subtitles preferred. Click here to submit your film. Submissions close on August 1st.

Tickets

Tickets will go on sale August 1 2026 - and are $10 CAD per day or $15 CAD for a 2-day pass. Cash, debit or credit will also be accepted at the door.
